The trainer, Nicole Landolfo Bass, is an experienced rider who has
competed at A level hunter/jumper horse shows for more than 15
years. She started at the age of 7 training with Tom and Debbie
DiVecchia at Windswept Farm. With help from them, she has shown
all over the country including: The Indio, CA Desert Circuit and the
prestigious “Indoors” shows.
Nicole also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Equestrian Science
and Management from William Woods University. She has taken
classes including: Equine Nutrition, Farrier Science, Veterinary
Medicine, Teaching Methods, and Stable Management. She
competed throughout her college years. After college, Nicole came
back to Texas and started StarHaven Farm in 2000.
StarHaven Farm offers complete training for your horse in hunter and
jumper, from green horses through upper levels. Nicole will work with
you to set goals for your horse, and then teach your horse with
patience and understanding in order for the horse to reach its full
potential.
Costs
Private 45 minute lesson $25
Group 1 hour lesson $20
Training Ride $20
Show days $35
From the beginning, basics of riding are taught and riders then have
the opportunity to enter into the show ring. Lessons are taught on
the students' own horses. Nicole can correct and modify problem
behaviors, and also teach your animal skills needed for successful
competition.
Haul-in riders and horses are welcome.
